Entry Description: This book was strongly inspired by scrapbook and polaroid. We began with a brainstorming activity, trying to move away from strictly template based designs and use something a bit more original. We started by creating out templates completely from scratch, but most students struggled to keep things in order, so we moved to find a template that had a clean, and orderly look. Then we began manipulating it to look the way that we wanted it to look. It took a great deal of work but using aesthetic from the 80's, polaroid themes and some ransom letters to complete the scrapbook look, we finished our idea and published it.

Entry Description: Winston School San Antonio is a K-12 school, whose mission is to educate students with identified learning differences. Our theme was inspired by our schools mission, and its commitment to be a place where all can belong and thrive.

Coral Reef Senior High School IB 2024 Yearbook

Entry Description: The Vogue theme and design of the front cover was inspired by a magazine cover of an edition of Vogue Portugal, where a lady sat in an armchair with men standing in the background standing on tables, with the caption "diva." This comedic rendition of the original cover inspiration was recreated with the student body, and with the head director of the school's program, who is sitting in the armchair. The theme was then adapted onto the rest of the book as we felt it was versatile and provided space for creativity and a unique approach to the student life.

Veritas Classical School- Alpharetta 2024 Yearbook

Entry Description: As a Christian school we have been asked to create a theme around a Bible verse each year. Our editor chose Passport into the World based upon Mark 16:15 which reads, "Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel." She wanted a book that replicated a passport on the outside and then had symbols of travel used to decorate the inside.

Oakley Jr-sr High School 2024 Yearbook

Entry Description: The theme of our school this year was Red Runs Deep. The student body presidency decided on this at the beginning of the school year. It represents the fact that even after graduation, the students and people involved with the school carry the experiences and skills that they learned and created from the school throughout the rest of their lives. It shows that even people in the community who are not involved with the school still feel and know that our school is a main focus in our community. Since the theme is ‘Red Runs Deep’ I wanted the colors to be based on red. The colors are on each page and help represent the theme. I really like designs that are clean and organized. So, I wanted that to show that throughout the book. I also really like sketches and things that make the book look more handmade. I drew and created many sketches that I placed on the pages. I had a requirement for the various people assigned to pages in the yearbook that they needed a sketch on each of the pages. This really helped the book look how I wanted. The result is that the pages look clean and organized.

New Brunswick High School 2024 Yearbook

Entry Description: Our mascot? The zebras. Our colors? Blue and white. Every few years, we try and use our mascot as the focus or inspiration for our cover design. This year, we went literal and created a crowded Blue and White field of zebras with our school initials and the year tucked into the mix.

Entry Description: Y2k Scrapbook Magazine. Scraps and pieces strung together on the pages we could find or theme seeks to mirror the messy business of remembering. A leather sketchbook design featuring hand-crafted images that represent each major at art and design.

Entry Description: Our mascot is the dragon and our school color is green. Our seniors are graduating and are ready to fly, just like the dragons in the cover.

Entry Description: Authenticity of the title "Rewind". Adding in pieces, text, photography and set up that kept with the theme and cover.

Coral Reef Senior High School IB 2024 Yearbook

Entry Description: Due to the theme of the book being Vogue, the design of the page was inspired by the look of a magazine, where the lettering/fonts tend to call the attention of the audience, and graphic design elements intervening in the photograph make the page more appealing and unique. This page was also selected to be a letter from the directors as it is an ongoing tradition at the school to do so every year, as the senior directors leave the graduating class a message that encompasses the graduating class' experience.

Entry Description: Since our yearbook themed was inspired by the Spotify music streaming service, we decided to create the dividers to look like a home menu on the app with additional elements such as the play and skip buttons.

Entry Description: We were so tickled when this moment happened in the show. Charlie Brown covers his head in embarrassment... and then realizes how embarrassing it is to be sitting at lunch with your head covered! It's a moment both sad and funny, and also relatable.

Entry Description: The photo was actually taken during the Softball event of HJSHS Bruin Team against Many Farms High School Team last February this year at Many Farms High School.
