Entry Description: So why “Capture the Moment” as a theme? The past few years have been hard. We have had to adjust and adapt to the new normal and come to peace with the reality of our high school experience. It is easy to get caught up on what we missed. What is a little harder, yet much more rewarding, is to use our experience as a reminder to view life with a lens of gratitude. We have firsthand experience that what we once took for granted could be taken away at any given second. This is all the more reason to hold on tight to each moment. To slow down and notice the subtle details and to stay present in each unique stage of life. With a sense of normalcy back in the 2021-2022 school year, we chose a theme that embraces just that. Throughout the book, we highlight traditions, people, and memories as we capture each memorable moment that has occurred in our North community. As you flip through the pages you will notice the presence of recurring hand-drawn doodles, student interviews, and film reels. Please know that every element from the graphics on the cover to the colors on the pages has been hand designed by our yearbook students and student body who could not be prouder of the outcome.
